Our sincere thanks to all the people in Haywood County North Carolina who helped to bring the Hidden Muscle Series to life. We are excited about this television series and proud to feature a wonderful group of people and their amazing cars from your area. We hope to return in the future to film those additional stories and fantastic collections we missed while we were there.
Season 1, Hidden muscle events include:
- “Carolina Mountain Moon Shiner's Run” The Carolina’s are famous for the moon shiner's whose days of running liquor inspired the early days of Nascar Racing. Its fast cars and crazy mountain madness with some amazing Hidden Muscle. We might even throw in a classic Street Drag race to get our viewers’ hearts pumping. This classic street drag is a friendly reminder of days gone by and is a wonderful series introduction.(episode 1)
- “The Daytona 50” – after a trip through - Florida, Hidden Muscle is up to their elbows in alligators and amazing Muscle. This episode takes us through one of America’s largest car shows “The Turkey Rod Run”. Our host , Peter Smith is having too much fun and is still able to pull off a 50 mile Muscle Car Cruise with several high speed laps around the track of the Daytona Speedway.
- “Drag Strip Run” – our Host takes a trip back to visit his roots in New Hampshire with his Muscle Car in tow. After catching up with some of his High School buddies who used to race across the school parking lot when he was a kid – Peter gets invited out to the New England Drag way in Epping, NH where he gets put behind the wheel of a modified classic Muscle Car that jumps off the starting line, catches our host by surprise and creates an extremely embarrassing moment. Hundreds of horses make this episode a winner.
- “The Collector” – Hidden Muscle makes its way all the way across America to Seattle, Washington where he has found a classic muscle car collector who has an extensive collection of over 70 very rare – classic muscle cars. What drives this man to be so passionate about these machines?? Only Hidden Muscle can take you there for the ride of your life.
- “Hidden Muscle Cruise for a Cause” – Literally, scores of classic Muscle cars line up and cruise the roads of Eastern Texas with us as we cruise into Dallas, Texas raising money for a national charitable organization that is particularly close to the heart of one of this week’s muscle car owners.
- “I Love LA” - A local tour of Los Angeles, California has us stopping in for visits with Hollywood Stars who share the passion for classic muscle cars. This episode ends up at Muscle Beach in Venice where hot bodies and hot cars catch a wave along the white sands with a 60’s & 70’s Beach Party and concert. Men and women in their bathing suits cruise the beach checking out these hot rides.
- “Route 66” After a sightseeing and reminiscing cruise down Route 66 – our host discovers amazing barn finds and invites the local car clubs to a meet at a classic Drive In Movie theater. Participants in this event show up in with family in tow, kids “big and little” make this an enjoyable event for all to watch. It’s a fun night where the evening closes as the Big Screen comes alive with “Gone in 60 Seconds – the original” playing for all.
- “Detroit Muscle Meet” Season 1 finishes the year with the “First Annual Hidden Muscle Meet” in Detroit Michigan – the home of American Muscle. Here, the amazing people featured on the first 12 episodes of the season come together as the celebrities of the Hidden Muscle Meet. It’s a Monster Muscle Car Show with classic muscle car owners strutting their stuff, telling us more stories and is also an opportunity for our Host Peter Smith to give away his ’68 Hidden Muscle Car and unveil the new car to be featured in season 2
